If there was ever a reason to press the pause button on my life, last week was it.

I tried to keep going - you know, "business as usual" for all the parts of my life - but I realized that I was gravely neglecting my emotional health by not making room to process and grieve.

So, making room is what I did. Well, it's what I'm doing.
