When I recorded this episode, I was actively processing how I felt after jumping off a very challenging phone call with a board member of my non-profit.

The anticipation of the phone call that morning weighed on me, and once it was over, I was dealing with an entire set of new emotions that carried on throughout the day.

But I had a TON of work to get done even though I felt like shutting down.

You see, how we feel during our day directly impacts the work we have to produce.

And in this episode, I'm sharing what I did to push through the emotional weight of that conversation in order to get my work done.

And just maybe my story will help you when you need to make room for the emotional rest you need in your day.

  • Why comfort food is not off limits to me for my emotional bounce back.
